Connect-2 is a new mission started last year by LIA to match mentors with students in the TriCities.
Mentors meet with students once a week throughout the school year for roughly 45 minutes. We partner with Ferry, Rosy Mound, Robinson, Holmes, White Pines, Lakeshore and GHHS! We have over 20 mentors and would like to double that in the upcoming year. If you are interested, you can reach out to...

Foster/Adopt TRUNK OR TREAT | October 16 | 6:00 - 7:30pm
Every year our Halloween Trunk or Treat event gets bigger and bigger! Getting outside in massive groups and going door to door can be way too much for a lot of our foster and adopt kiddos. But who doesn't love to dress up and get candy?! Would you help us make this event fun and memorable?
Here's what we need.
- Candy donations! We'll have bins out at all the entrances to the Hub for your donations.
- Provide a non-scary decorated trunk & hand out candy! Dress up your trunk and yourself and hang out with all the other trunk volunteers.
- Event volunteers. We need people to help us with food service, scarecrow making helpers, parking attendants, set up and tear down crew.
