May 11 - Love In Action Food Drive Sorting

Every year the National Association of Letter Carriers runs a food drive called Stamp Out Hunger. Because food insecurity has become one of the most pressing conditions in our county we want to collect as much non-perishable food as possible to stock our area pantries. We will be collecting food for 4 weeks leading up to collection day.

Then on May 11 we need 3 groups of around 4 people each to help us sort the donations at Love In Action.

The shifts will be roughly,

11:00 - 1:00pm

1:00 - 3:00pm

3:00 - 5:00pm

June 15 - Kids Belong Fundraiser Garage Sale

First Place, a ministry of Kids Belong, already has its first 2 occupants - young adults who have aged out of foster care and need housing. The plan is to build 3 more duplexes in the next year. We want to support this incredible ministry by hosting the biggest garage sale the Watermark Hub has ever seen.
